Bathroom & hygiene assistance

In addition to offering toilet support, we can change incontinence pads, assist you with stoma bags and empty catheters. Furthermore, our team can also assist you with showering, bathing, strip-wash and bed baths.

Help with your medicine

Obtaining and renewing prescribed medication can be difficult. We can facilitate the collection of your medication or arrange delivery straight from your pharmacy. We will also remind you when to take it and how much you need.

Help with preparing your food

We can help you make drinks, go food shopping, cook for you.  Our team members are happy to plan menus and prepare meals for you.

Morning/evening routine assistance

Help to complete day-to-day activities is important. We can support you with such things like getting dressed and undressed, to teeth-cleaning and shaving.

All of the staff at AvaCare undertake a 12-week induction course where they learn all aspects of Personal Care, including but not limited to, Health & Safety, Moving & Handling, Infection Control, Medication Awareness and Food Hygiene.

How Much Does Personal Care Cost?
